Code of Conduct
Cairdeas Code of Conduct
Last updated on 9/3/2008 by Eventin

Below are the policies which govern our guild, as well as the expectations we have for our members.

1. Core Values - Our Core Values of Friendship, Fellowship, & Fun are the heart and soul of our guild, and the measuring stick by which all of our actions are measured. Please give them a read here.

2. Member Conduct - Our policy on member conduct can be summed up with just one word: Respect. Your fellow members, guild officers, and fellow players should be treated with respect. "Grief" styles of play are not tolerated.

3. No offensive names. We'd rather not have anyone named something like PigBenus running around with our guildtag on

4. Guild Chat/Vent Chat - Our guild is composed of members from varying age groups, backgrounds, cultures, and belief systems. For this reason we ask that discussions in guild chat be kept at a PG-13 level without swearing.

5. Faction - We are an Order guild, and require that you do not create an Destruction character on our main server. Other servers are not an issue.

6. Guild Loyalty - We expect that you will have no other characters in another guild on our server. Other servers are not an issue.

Cairdeas Philosophy

We have a short list of guidelines that we expect all of our members to abide by. They are for the most part common sense and very reasonable:

1. We expect our players to refrain from using profanity and abusive language both on the guild channel and in public areas.

2. We will not tolerate people who steal from other players, grief kill or otherwise intentionally train MOB's on other players, or participate in other grief activities.

3. We expect our members to help each other and the general community when possible.

4. We do not guarantee our members hunting groups, power-leveling or free items. What we are providing our members is an opportunity to be involved in a good guild. It is up to you to seize that opportunity and make the most of it. Our goal is to offer an environment and a resource that if properly used will make the game a better experience for all of us.
