It is a free to play (item mall) fantasy mmo from a russian developer. You could easily compare it to wow's initial quality and style.

2 faction sides with equal character classes but different races. There is pve, rvr, raids and special things like spelljammer type flying ships(6man party sized ones and 36 guild sized) which can be flown around the astral area for pve or pvp combat.

League: Gibberlings, humans(kanian), elves
Empire: Orcs, humans, undead(arisen)

Sounds good Haader. I got three toons so far for the League side on the Tensess server.

L5 Priest - Nostarion
L5 Druid - Aphrael

Can easily reroll if needed to start on the other server. Plus, play any class needed.

Allods Closed Beta Test #4 Extended & Open to All

Due to the overwhelming response from players and the need to further test the latest patch, we have decided to extend Closed Beta Test #4 for an additional week, through February 10th. Additionally, beginning today you will no longer need a key to access the game! If you have a free gPotato account you will be able to log in and play Allods!


So tell your friends, family, everyone you know, that Allods Online is still open for business and to get in there and start playing!

They just announced FEB 16trh for the start of open beta for NA and Eu.
Open beta has no character wipe so treat it as release. Will be picking the best server that day.

Any final word on faction? Grim seems to be quite gibber-phobic! I was rather looking forward to having a killer squirrel.

squirrel side will be the more mature player base and also underdogs from most estimations. (league)

Haader's probably right sadly, I just wont playing a Psionic as a main on the League side as I wont be playing the ewoks Summoner looks interesting to me, but if they die as quickly as you've been saying in PVP I may have to re-evaluate that before Open starts lol

The group speed buff is going to be wanted for sure, We'll have to at least have a speed bot I think. (Which unless things change has to be an ewok x 3 cause that is the only race that can be one it appears on the league side, which doesnt really make sense to me as there are 2 choices for the Empire side)

So ever since open beta launched, there has be some performance hits from so many people in the same areas fighting over same slow spawns. ( the joke was 10 people per each mob pop). This has aparrently been getting better daily and are about 4:1 ratio now and lag is a little better for most of the day except, it peaks closer to 8pst when the daily reset of fatigue happens

Make sure you are looking at allods online site and not rappelz by the way, same company, different game.
