Mythic has opened server transfers for Azazel and it looks like pretty much everyone is moving. We will be moving to Volkmar. The transfers are free. Please help circulate this to as many people as you can - especially people not playing WAR currently who may come back.

This transfer is NOT available as an option once you log into your account as of 02/19/2009 at 5:30 EST. Azazel & Volkmar are both listed as DESTINATION servers. Azazel is no where listed as a SOURCE server.

Obviously, there is a glitch somewhere in Mythic's transfer system.

I think we'll have to wait til they open their offices this morning and get that ball rolling.

I think 2/19 probably means sometime during business hours today we will see it come available.

Just so people are aware of the process. Once I put Eventin in for transfer the guild on Azazel will dissolve. I will be doing this tonight and we will be reforming on Volkmar tonight as well. The system mechanics are such that our guild rank will travel with him so we will be rank 24 at formation on the new server.

If you have a common name it will probably be gone. Code, Malum and Epic are my typical alt names and of course they are all gone. But a new name is a small price to pay for the opportunity to have a much better gaming experience.

Ok..I am transfered. It was a bit buggy....made me change Eventins name. It is now Kode. But it then let me name my runepriest Eventin. But I am now there.

I am now moved as well and, of course, Maya, being a common name, didn't survive intact. My archmage is now:

Mayanna, after my healer in WOW

and my swordmaster is now:

Mayya

for those of you updating your ignore list my other toons stayed the same:)

Got all my characters over w/o any name problems but I saw were quite a few order guild names were stolen by someone on destro side.

I'll have to do this later. Hopefully tonight.

Mythic currently has transfers disabled due to some issue. Not going to be as easy as I had hoped.

Hopefully they bring it back online soon.

uhhh... it would appear that the Azazel to Volkmar transfer option is no longer available. its back to the way it was previously.... Azazel is destination only. Maybe they never updated the transfer list on the front page?

Anyway, there are no servers coming in the pull down menu when you attempt to do this now... so I'll stand by.

I'm sure they'll work it out...

FYI, the character transfer is up and running again. My characters have been transferred, though I couldn't keep most of my names.

Gilean = Gillean
Lena = Gilena
Krais = Kraistlin

I am coming back to the game for another shot and I just got my characters transfered as well.

None of them are very high, but hopefully I will have time to level them more this go round
